Getting around the bigautographs.com website
1. The Homepage
On the home page we will try to show you some of our new and most exclusive items, so finding the latest autographs are easy for everyone. Just click on the one that takes your fancy!
2. Getting back to the homepage
At any time to get back to the bigautographs.com home-page simply click the bigautographs.com logo or the ‘Home’ link in the top-left of the page, it’s that easy!
If you choose to hover over a category on the left-hand side, you may find a page with some sub-categories. You can simply hover over a sub-category to show more sub-categories and then click on a category to show a list of products.
4. Product Listings
You may find that a category has lots of products, and the one you’re looking for isn’t on page one. In that case you can view the different pages by clicking the next or previous page numbers. The page number you are on will be highlighted to make it obvious where you are.
5. Correcting a wrong turn
If you’ve clicked on the wrong sub-category by mistake you’ll be able to get back to the major category by either clicking your browser’s back button or by using the breadcrumb navigation at the top of the page. The breadcrumb trail will resemble this – Home > Football > Photos > Europe > etc, where the last mentioned is where you are currently.
6. Searching the site
If you know exactly the item you are looking for, you can search for it to save yourself some time. The search function is located in the top right hand corner of the home-page. Simply type in your search term and press Search or return/enter on your keyboard.
Placing an Item in Your Shopping Cart
1. Find a Product You Like
This is the easy part. After you’ve found the signed item of your dreams, it’s time for the next step.
2. Add to Cart
You’ve found the item you wish to purchase. Now all you have to do is add it to your cart. Simply select your quantity, and then click the Add to Cart Button. That’s it! Now all you have to do is purchase your item, so Proceed to Checkout.
Registering & Logging-in
1. Register Username, Password, Email, Security Question and Answer
At first we need you to sign up for your new account, simply click Register at the top of the page. Next you will need to create a desired username, password, confirm your password, register your email address and lastly set a security question and answer.
2. Dealing with errors
Every now and again you’ll make a mistake. We try to eliminate them as much as possible but mistakes inevitably occur. When you make a mistake you’ll see an error message appear detailing what you have done wrong, simply read through it carefully and correct your mistake.
Enter your username & password then press the log-in button
Hopefully you know your password which should have been emailed to you when you registered.
Forgot your Password?
If you have forgotten your password than retrieving it is simple. Click on the Forgot Password? Link and fill in your username then press the submit button. You will be sent a new password to log back into your account. To change your new password, go to the My Account section at the top of the screen. If you have forgotten your username then let us know the email address you registered with and we will be able to help.
Buying the items in Your Cart
1. Getting to the view My Cart page
Once you’ve added an item to your cart you will have two options, proceed to checkout or continue shopping.
If you choose to continue shopping simply select a category on the left hand side where you can start the shopping process again. If at any time you want to proceed to view your cart just click My Cart button in the top right hand corner of the screen.
2. Reviewing your order
After adding all the items to your cart, you now have an opportunity to increase or decrease the quantity of items in your cart (depending on stock levels). You also have the chance to double-check your order. If everything here meets your approval press the Proceed to Checkout button to kick-start the checkout process.
If you’re not already logged-in or not registered you will see this page. If you’ve purchased before all you have to do is log-in with your username and password. If you haven’t registered before, simply click on the Not Registered? Link. There is more information about registering and logging-in in our Guide to Registering and Logging-in above.
4. Billing/Shipping information
During the first stage of adding your contact details you will need to add your name, phone, email, address including city, state/region, postal code and country. You must then select if you wish to ship your order to this address, if so please tick the Use for Shipping? Box. If you answered yes, then you will proceed to the Shipping Method section. If you answered no, simply follow the above steps to add in a Shipping Address. The reason for this is that you can add multiple addresses, for instance work or home or you can get your items delivered to a friend or relative if you wish.
If you have previously ordered with us, you can select your saved address from the drop down menu.
5. Shipping Method
A delivery charge will be calculated using a flat postage rated based on the total amount of purchase. Please check our Delivery Info section for more details. Next, press the continue button.
6. Coupon information
If you have a discount code you can apply it here. Please register at either or both of our facebook and myspace groups via the links page to receive some great discount offers. To progress to the order review, click continue.
7. Order Review
You’re given a chance to review your total order with delivery prices. If everything is to your approval, you must read and then agree to our terms and conditions by ticking the box. To submit your payment details, please click the Process Order button.
8. Submit Your Payment Details
Once you press the Process Order button, you will then be transferred to the Paypal website, our payment provider and the trusted leader in online payments. Here you must login to complete the transaction. There is also the opportunity to cancel the ordering process and return to bigautographs.com if you wish to do so.
9. Get Your Order Confirmation Number & Confirmation email
After you’ve submitted your payment you’ll be sent a confirmation email from both bigautographs.com and Paypal. If you don’t receive these please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to check your order has been processed. You can also view your order by simply logging into your account and pressing My Account at the top of the screen.
Modify and/or Save details
Your details should now be correct but you can modify them at anytime if you need to. To change either your password or email, simply login and select My Account at the top of the page. If you have a new delivery address simply add a new address when completing the Billing section.
